This is a custom built rebody kit on a brand new Porsche Boxster bought from "Brumos Porsche" In Jacksonville Florida six months ago. There are 414 miles on the car right now. This car started life as a 1975 911s Targa, a nice car in it's own right, and about ten years ago the current owner started a 6 year project and spent many, many thousands of dollars to have this 911 modified into a car people dream about owning; a Porsche 959. He hired a well known local Porsche expert to perform the transformation that not only included the all the modifications you see to the body, (yes, he used a Getty body kit) but also upgraded the chassis to include a 1983 911sc 3.0L engine with 32,000 miles on it. He also installed new glass throughout the car and new interior upholstery. Just 4 years ago the body project was completed and quite a bit of mechanical work was done to make this car ready for the road and a pleasure to drive. This work included: a new fuel injection system, engine tune-up, new wheels and tires, rebuilt pedal assembly, a new clutch, new brake pads and rotors, front & rear hood support struts, and some of the dash instruments were also rebuilt. In 2002 & 2003 this car received new, updated Timing Chain Tensioners, Bilstein Shocks in the rear, a New (not rebuilt) alternator, new steering column bearings, a rebuilt shifter assembly, and a new ignition lock. The odometer on this car shows 32,000 miles but the true mileage is unknown. This car turns heads everywhere it goes and is a lot of fun to drive. Now it can be yours! "

OK here we have an unusual Porsche for your consideration. Before we start I’ve sold a few Porsches on ebay with great results….everyone happy! I’m not a car dealer just a hobby guy and I feel with the advent of technology and the internet that the Porsche community has become a SMALL WORLD online….selling a car online is like selling cars in a small town….your reputation follows you !!! With that said I strive to fully disclose all known issues with my cars.

This beast is a 1986 carrera cabriolet with extensive modifications. Most of you know that Porsche did not make Turbo Cabs in 1986. From what I can gather this was essentially a low option carrera cab from the factory. In the late eighties the car underwent a major modification/ turbo conversion by Dave Dopke’s Bavarian Coach Works in Ohio. Some of you may know that Mr. Dopke created a few 935 copies and other 911 variants in his day….you can read a little about him here:

Body:
The workmanship on this car is exquisite…factory steel turbo quarter panels, (not ad on flares) factory steel box rockers, steel turbo front fenders, with aluminum 928 fender sections grafted in…all in beautiful high gloss black, with no cracks or visible body work seams. All the panels fit properly. It has a slightly extended tail/engine lid, one piece fiberglass, it looks like a DP tail to me but it does not have any markings on it. 928 H4 headlight system uses all factory 928 parts and works perfectly. Car has a new top, headliner, and rear window, and top boot, top is electric and works perfectly. There a large DP type front spoiler with a minor crack in it from tapping a parking stop. (pictured)

Interior:
The inside is a late eighties time capsule with the large Recaro seats and Gugario steering wheel. It is well instrumented with boost gauge instead of clock, andial intercooler temp gauge, cylinder head temp gauge. Everything is in really nice condition although there is minor wear on some carpet sections where you would expect (around the driver’s feet), oh yeah it’s got a booming stereo with twin carver amps and a 10disc changer too, and built in radar.

Mechanical:
This is the fun part of this car….it is equipped with a 1986 930 turbo engine and 930 four speed transmission. The engine just got a full top end rebuild at 31910 miles (less than 2000 miles) with new OEM pistons and cylinders, complete rework on the dual plug heads including all new valves, guides, springs, all new oil lines, rebuilt fuel distributor, etc. with documentation for repairs totaling over $17000.00 within the last 2000 miles. Engine compartment is dominated by a HUGE intercooler and those of you with a keen eye may notice the very rare OEM 935 12 plug distributor. Has cockpit adjustable wastegate that I keep turned all the way down and it STILL rivals the acceleration of my 996 turbo ! This car is blistering fast and reliable too….roars like a racecar idles at around 1500 RPM….when you fire it up people just smile. Other extras include oversized additional front oil cooler, updated AC, and new MASSIVE 345-35-15 rear tires on BBS 3 piece wheels.

Some history:
This car has an ORIGINAL 33000 miles on it. Carfax shows consistent mileage readings since new to confirm this, and it has no title issues, no wrecks, floods, or other BS. Clean FL title in my name, no liens, no stories. Carfax DOES show several failed emissions tests….no surprise….if you are concerned about emissions, this is not the car for you. Also this car sold on ebay in June of 2002 for $37000.00 (item #1837776380) that was BEFORE the top end rebuild and new top. I’m offering it here starting very low and with NO RESERVE.

This is a well-built and maintained car, but it is sold without warranty. Trust the Custom Porsche Inovators Wicked MotorWorks, not the cheap fiberglass Immitators...Ladies and Gentlemen, I think just maybe we may have topped ourselves this time. Wicked Motor Works is the Leader and Pioneer, in the Customized Modifications of Porsches and other Exotic Sports Cars. Today, we are unveiling the Porsche 996 Twin Turbo TechArt GT2 Mega-Wide Wicked-7 Body Cabriolet, Which is 7 Inches Wider then the normal Turbo Body. There is only one word that can describe this new creation that we are unveiling today for the first time "WICKED" Here is what we did: We took a stock 1999 Porsche 996 Cabriolet and we removed every body panel on the car apart from the doors. Then we ordered all Factory OEM Porsche Twin Turbo Front Fenders and Rear quarter panels. Once our Expert Fabricators installed the factory front fenders and rear quarter panels (just like the factory would by the spot welds) we then went further, where no Porsche fabrication and modification shop has gone before, we added 2 inches in the front fenders and a wopping 3.5 inches to each quarter panel "in medal NOT fiberglass" by hand, piece by piece in individual sections (this process took 2 months). Once the front fenders and rear quarter panels were perfectly shaped, we began modifying the front techart style front bumper and rear turbo bumper and expanding them to accommodate the wider custom body as only we can. Then we went to the Rocker panels, the rocker panels had to be cut and put in place by 3-5" sections so they never crack from the extreme curve in the body. Then we installed our custom Wicked Type-3 hood with lines and contours to accentuate the lines and curves of the entire car. Finally, the last body part our own GT2 Decklid and Wing was installed. Once all the body work and modifications were done, we took everything off to paint them. Once everything was painted in parts, we then installed them on the car and prepped the car for 2 weeks before we began the painting stages on the car. The paint job on the car looks like black glass, it is so gorgeous you would be afraid to touch it in fear of putting one finger print on it. This creation folks is truly a masterpiece and was just on display at the 2006 L.A. Auto Show and magazine covers such as the Dupont Registry. We have done this body on a Factory 03 Twin Turbo and the price tag on that is $150K so this is a bargan. Some very lucky individual will own this car at a price that cannot even be dreamed of. But you will never see this look for this price again, because we built this car for the L.A. Auto Show and will only be doing this body on Turbo's now unless it is a custom commissioned order. Here is what This Mega-Super-Car has: 2005 Porsche Twin Turbo GT2 TechArt Mega-WideBody Wicked-7 Super Car Look built on a 1999 Porsche platform. The car started life as a 1973 Porsche 911. Now has a complete tube frame. 3.4 liter engine with CMW Heads and SS exhaust. Hand made throttle bodies fuel injection and a EFI fuel management system with crank trigger ignition system, installed my MODE Inc. in Scottsdale Az, with 338 HP at 7700 rpm. The transmission is a 915 that has been completely rebuilt with all upgrades new gears and synchro's, all cryo-rem processing by Powerhaus II, in Boulder Co. The transmission also has a WEVO shift gate kit and WEVO Shifter. And a remote transmission oil cooler with electric pump. There is a AIM MXL data dash with lap timing beacon. you are bidding on a RARE 1985 PORSCHE 935. This is my friends car and he asked me to list it for him. This car has been sitting for about 5 years, due to health reasons he is not interested in restoring the car, and wants to sell it. He bought this car in germany and had it shipped to america. He always took good care of it but never drove it much (didn't want to put miles on it). This is a good looking car and is worth restoring. I will be as honest as I can be about the car , I don't want to mislead anybody.
This car needs work.
1. It needs body work and new paint.does not have rot but does have surface rust (PLEASE LOOK AT PICS)
2.We started the car today ,and with a jump it started right up. The things that we noticed is that it needs a alternator, and even though it ran good it had some blue smoke coming out of the exghust, I don't know what this means but I talked to a few people that know about cars and a mechanic and some said that because the car has been sitting so long it could be old gas , condonsation, or dryed up cork gaskets that need the engine to heat up to expand them again. When he parked the car, he said it did not have any kind of smoke coming out of the exhaust, but like I said I don't know I'm not a mechanic I'm just telling you what I was told by other people.
3. It has a broken window on the passenger side door, not the big window but the little triangle one(look at passenger side pics)
4. The tail fin needs two screws reconnected(see pics)

The 989 was intended to become first 4-door Porsche ever, having a true back seat. Plans were for it to be powered by a large 4.2 litre, all alloy, water cooled V8, and for it to be the successor to the 928. Not too far into the development, it was trashed, due to the extreme development costs and limited number of potential buyers.The control arm suspension, which was later featured on the 993, was developed for the 989. The most striking feature are the headlight and tailight clusters, which are exactly like the ones found on the latest 911, the 996. Porsche had this 1998 styling developed all the way back in 1991! Even though the project was scrapped, it was not a total loss, as it eventually served as the predecessor for the 1998 evolution of the 911 nameplate. Try to imagine the side photo of the 989 with only one set of doors, and you'll see a striking resemblance to the 996. "

It's all metal no fiberglas or bondo. It runs and drives great. 5 speed, alloys, am/fm/cd, Scheel Sport seats,sway bars front and rear,H 4 headlights and 3 inch lap belts. The body has no rust or any body damage ever. I have the factory alloys out getting polished and it will have new tires. If you buy it quick I will do the rims any way you want and also get your choice of tires. I know the craftsman that built this Speedster and he spent alot of time to make it look like a 356 Speedster. Like aero mirrors and the Speedster type top. There are no door windows but I can fit some side curtins or make roll up glass ones if you want them. The cost would be over the sale price and you would need to pay for the window work.
